Ruby Wood is a vocalist and songwriter hailing from Huddersfield. She has toured the world as the front woman of the critically acclaimed Submotion Orchestra since its conception in 2009 and has also featured as lead vocalist for the Bonobo live band.

After years of writing and collaborating with others Ruby is finally releasing her first ever Solo EP on Firstword Records. 

Her performance at Onwards festival will feature intimate, stripped back versions of her new original material, played by longtime friend and collaborator, guitarist Martin Chung, and will also feature Mali Hayes and Shaun Brown on backing vocals.
